Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I went her for the first time today and it was by far the most disgusting pizza I have ever had. $14 for a medium cheese pizza is a fair price if the quality of food is good. Friendly staff but unbelievably poor excuse for pizza, I also wished they asked me before cutting the pizza into so many little diamond shapes, I like pizza cut like pizza.

I grew up in CJ, and "The Pizza Deli" was always a favorite. Great pizza and ingredients from a local sausage company. My dad and his friend always got a "Bait Bucket" pizza (I think it had shrimp, anchovies, oysters, etc). I'm not kidding, you could smell that thing coming. I'll stick with the "Deli Delight," thank you very much. :) Went back for the first time in over 25 years, and was happy to see the same favorites on the menu even though the business name has changed. Also happy to see they still cut the pizza the same unique way...cross-cut diamonds instead of the traditional pie slice. I always like trying new beers at local micro-breweries, and theirs were great! Nice job Wild River.

Great salad bar, pizza, beer & live music. The eight long & wide tables made from 3" thick curly redwood are the most awesome sight in Cave Junction!

Great pizza and wonderful beer! It's my usual lunch stop when heading towards the Oregon/California coast. They have a large selection of pizza and micro brews, and if pizza isn't your thing, they have a salad bar and a sandwich menu.

All good reviews of 4 drafts from our party of nine - check out the specialty breads, on premise brewed root beer, bar be- que pizza. Pizza are traditional style or ingredients, but are delicious just the same. Very casual, friendly and comfortable. A game room for clild at heart and actual.

Great Pizza and great fried chicken and spuds. Not sure why but they have a place in Grants Pass and the pizza is nothing like the pizza in Cave Junction. Deli delight is just fantastic if you like meat toppings. its loaded, we do ask them to cook the pizza well done because we like a crispy this crust, but I do the same with Abbys. Try it sometime.

Good service, great pizza. Nice porch outside when the weather is nice. Fun to try a new brew. Sizes are big, so medium was more like a large.

This definitely appeared to be the most popular place in town. And while we really enjoyed live music on a Saturday night and the mini-arcade, the pizza was only average. The restaurant is very basic and definitely set up for groups with long tables. Absolutely the kind of place where you would go with your kids' sports team to celebrate a victory. Our biggest issue was choosing a pizza. It seemed to take us forever because many of their menu items were a bit odd. Next time I'll probably just make my own, but it was strange considering the simple surroundings to have such irregular menu items. We ended up with their version of Hawaiian and Taco pizza and a basic cheese for the kiddos. A few things that stand out are the criss-cut pattern, rather than slices. It makes everything into nice two-bite sized pieces. And my favorite thing on the menu was their house made root beer ($1.50, including refills). They have a brewery on-site and make both beer and root beer, which you can also purchase to-go. Mr. K enjoyed his local brew too. For a family meal, definitely one of the better options in Cave Junction.

KEEP GOING nothing worth eating in cave Junction! Not a single place is worth stopping. Trust what you know.... Subway.. Rays...................:.............. If you see that little pizza food cart out front of chevron. They make great little pizza.

I gave this place 4 stars. It would've been 5, but the customer service was a little bit lacking... when we first walked in, we were looking around and a lady that worked there kind of just pushed through us to get outside. Not the best first impression. The pizza was great and their specialty in house made root beer and orange cream soda was BOMBZO. SERIOUSLY, I think I drank my weight in it! I loved how they cut their pizza. It made it easy to sample each one. I would've liked for them to have told us how it was cut, however. They just weren't that informative since we told them we had never been there. We ordered 2 largest for 7 people - 3 of them teenagers...and we took some to go!

This has been, and always will be, my most favorite pizza. I grew up on this stuff, and it uses local meats, so an easy 4 stars. The prices continue to go up, and for such a small town, that is pretty extreme, but I get a pizza from here every time I come down to visit. If you don't like the way they cut it into little diamond shapes, just tell them to cut it normal.

Wow did we have a treat tonight! Stopped tonight for some quick pizza and ended up with live music and wonderful food! The stromboli was AMAzing! We were a party of 8 And were served fast and loved all the pizzas. Love that they don't add too much sauce and the sauce isn't too sweet. And the toppings are on top, with the cheese underneath. They cut the pizza into little "diamonds" - most unique, and makes the pizza easier to handle. The music provided by Maurice Woodard, The One Man Band was amazing. His voice is beautiful and his range of music is outstanding! He was very lively and chatted/joked with everyone between songs. Takes requests! Loved our whole experience.

I saw this place had a high rating but Yelp disappointed. Our fries were either breaded or so heavily fried that they were crusted. They were basically inedible. The mushrooms on my burger were canned. I could barely find the hamburg patty. I guess was ordering a burger at a pizza joint. The IPA was good and there was a local country duo singing which lent atmosphere to the family style rustic restaurant. There is outdoor seating too.

Yes yes yes...the beer is good!!! I've been to a few of their other locations, but this is my fave. You can sit back and stare at the ceiling for quite a while soaking in all the odd painted characters floating around in the clouds. I even enjoyed the semi-grumpy lady at the front register. I think thats just how she is. It adds to the character of the place! She's just a bit rough around the edges. I definately was a fan of my pizza since I got my own. And the diagonal cuts made them into the perfect bite sizes. I still regret not bringing a case of their beer home. They had it at a pretty decent price.

Usually, when I see that a place has their own beers on tap, two things run through my mind: 1. Awesome!! 2. I wonder which ones are the good ones Between the two of us, we tried at least two thirds of them. These people make good beer. There was not one among them that I would not order again. They are all solid beers. We were prepared for pizza, until we saw that they had burgers. It seems bad to get burgers at a pizza place but sometimes you have to get what the tummy wants. I think they were good. We consumed them rather fast. The fries reminded me of the fries I used to get at pizza place that closed down when I was a kid. I cannot describe what memories taste like... it was a beautiful memory. If you want good memories, come here, order some food and a whole mess of any (or all) of their beer. Lots of TVs, arcade games, beautiful ceiling to get lost in, and the picnic bench seating provides an excellent opportunity to make friends with the locals.

Really, really bad and overpriced pizza. The reviews were deceptive and wish we hadn't stopped.

We stopped by during a stay outside Cave Junction. The pizza was above par, and on our all meat pizza the toppings were tasty and good quality. The ambiance was family friendly, but a bit loud with the TV, radio, live music and natural buzz of people talking all at once. The good thing is no one seemed to mind (or notice) our kids running around from the table and arcade area. The seating is long family style tables, and you order at the register. The beer was also tasty, not the best I've had, but very worthwhile to go with the pizza. If we are ever in CJ again, we will stop and eat and try more of the beer.

Awesome dining experience. Fantastic service! Great pizza and beer. Very affordable and fun.

Love it. I live in town and eat here all the time. The food is always great. Now I love them even more because they offer gluten-free pizza crust!

Pretty good local chain. I believe this was their original location. The beer was the main draw for my friend and me; we shared a pizza while we enjoyed a pitcher of the kölsch. The beer was very good. The pizza was ok. We ordered a pie with "primavera" vegetables, including mushrooms, onions and almonds. It was cut in the strangest manner I've seen, on many diagonals to form diamond-shaped slices. We were in the midst of a camping and hiking trip, and were the only people in the restaurant that particular Sunday afternoon who had not come directly from church with family in tow.

I must admit that my expectations for a pizza place in a tiny town in Oregon were VERY low. Let me be the first to admit, though, that I was wrong. We had two small pizzas (two much food for the four of us) and they were both quite good. Crisp crust, good sauce, right amount of cheese and toppings. Tons of beer on tap and friendly service. Just right for a hungry family of four after a long day on the road.

Please! this ain't pizza folks, it's 1/4" inch plywood cut into little diamond shapes for the kiddie's, how do they get away with calling this crap pizza?
(1)Karen H.
Driving through Cave Junction? Bypass the Subway and stop here - you won't regret it. Great pizza, refreshing beer, homey atmosphere. This is definitely a locals place - the Cave Junction cops and firefighters were eating their lunch here when we stopped in for lunch on a weekday, and there a photos of all the town's youth sports teams all over the wall.

This is by far one of our favorite parts about visiting Southern OR!! The pizza is delicious; the crispiness of the crust, the oozing cheese, not to mention the way they slice the pizzas-in diamond shapes, but you have to be careul because it can be deceiving, before you know it you've eaten an entire pizza. The beer is great too. We tried the Kolsh and the IPA this time and is was a perfect paring with our pizza!

We were in Cave Junction visiting family recently so we got a chance to check out some local eateries. Wild River Pizza was great! We wish we had something like this back in our home town in South OC California. All we have here are so-so chains. The pizza from Wild River was so good we got some extra to go and had it for breakfast!
